FARGO, N.D. - On June 21, 2012, the policyholders of Farmers Mutual Home Insurance Company voted to approve the Reinsurance and Assumption Agreement.   With the approval, Farmers Mutual Home Insurance is officially part of Battle Creek Mutual Insurance of Norfolk, Neb., which is a member of the Nodak Mutual Group.  

"We are very pleased with the approval by the policyholders and their support of the agreement between the two companies" said Jim Alexander, Nodak Mutual's Executive Vice President and CEO.  "Work is well underway in offering the products and services to the Farmers Mutual Home agents and policyholders so that they can benefit from the financial strength of Nodak Mutual Group," he continued.
